JOY ATTRACTS JOY.
🔥 UNFORGIVABLE TRUTH 🔥
The more chances you give someone to disrespect you without consequence, the more they begin to believe your forgiveness is guaranteed. At first, they apologise. Then they explain it away. Eventually, they stop being sorry at all because they’ve learned you’ll still be there.
That’s where love can become self-abandonment.
Loving someone does not mean allowing them to keep hurting you. Forgiving someone does not mean giving them unlimited access to your life. You can understand their wounds, have compassion for their story, and still decide that what they are doing to you is no longer acceptable.
There comes a point where another chance is no longer grace. It becomes permission.
Boundaries are not punishment. Walking away is not hatred. Sometimes the greatest act of self-respect is accepting that someone may never treat you the way you deserve to be treated.
Never let anyone become comfortable disrespecting you simply because they know you have a good heart.
Forgive if your soul needs peace. Release the anger when you’re ready. But never confuse forgiveness with an obligation to stay.
And when someone repeatedly forgets it... have the courage to remember it for them by walking away.
